Description
Small, weeping, broad, deciduous ornamental tree (H 4-5 m, W 3-4 m). Crown dense, broadly dome-shaped, eventually irregular, picturesque. Branches dense, hanging. Leaves narowly lanceolate (4-9 cm), smooth, slightly glossy, light grey-green to silver-grey. Flowers simple, cup-shaped (1-1,5 cm), white. Flowering period: April-May. Fruits tiny, green. Attracts bees, butterflies and birds. An undemanding species, normally withstands drought and urban conditoins.
