Description
Small, upright, widely spreading deciduous tree (H 8-10 m, W 6-8 m). Crown pyramidal to broadly oval, regular. Leaves broad-palmate (10-15 cm), 5-lobed, dark green; autumn colour bright yellow to orange-red; leaflets distinctive, broad, with a long, narrowly pointed tip. Flowers and fruits not remarkable. Undemanding tree, suitable for urban conditoins. The variety is a result of crossing between Acer truncatum and A. platanoides.
