Description
Small, upright, narrow, deciduous ornamental tree (H 6-8 m, W 2-3 m). Crown columnar. Branches upright. Leaves ovate (4-6 cm), at first red, later green, autumn colour orange, red, to violet-red. Flowers simple (2,5 cm), snow white, with remarkable yellow anthers. Flowering period: April. Fruits absent. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Requires light, deep, always moderately moist, but well-drained soils. The variety is a result of crossing Prunus incisa × P. serrulata var. speciosa.
