Description
Large, upright, broad, deciduous tree (H 25-30 m, W 8-12 m). Crown ovate to broadly spherical, eventually irregular. Branches upright to widely spreading. Leaves simple, broadly ovate (8-11 cm), with a doubly serrate margin, vivid green. Flowers not remarkable, light green. Flowering period: March-April. Fruits flattened, round (1,5 cm), brown. Requires always moderately moist, deep, fertile, loose soils, also on lime. Very healthy variety, normally withstands urban conditions, wind (also salt in air), heat, short periods of drought, occasional flooding.
