Description
Small, weeping deciduous conifer, tree (H 2-6 m, depands as well on grafting height, W 1-2 m), crown very narrowly dome-shaped. Bark dark grey-brown to dark red-brown, flaky. Branches dense, hanging. Needles (1-3 cm) in bundles of 10-30, thin, light green, autumn colour distinctly bright yellow to orange yellow. Flowers not remarkable, male (yellow) and female (pink-red) flowers separate. Flowering period: April. Fruits cones (3-4 cm), egg-shaped, dark brown, scales flat. Attracts birds.
