Description
Small, upright, bushy deciduous shrub, shrub-rose, a hybrid rugosa (H 0,8-1 m, W 1-1,2 m). Branches upright to open, arching. Leaves broadly ovate (10-12 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, ribbed, glossy, vivid green. Flowers in clusters, bowl-shaped (8-10 cm), double, pink to bright pink; beautifully scented. Flowering period: June-July, some rebloom later. Well resistant to diseases, well-growing, undemanding variety, grows well also in half-shade. Useful as a solitary shrub, ground-covering or bed-rose. A German variety.
