Description
Conwed Fibers® Hydro Mulch® 1000 with TriFlo™ is a fully biodegradable water sowing mulch composed of 100% recycled Thermally Refined™ (thermally treated) wood fibres. The mulch is phytosanitary treated, it has no plasticised or plastic-coated grid and creates a tightly porous and absorbent layer when coming into contact with the soil surface, which accelerates the germination and growth of plants.
ADVANTAGES OF THE PRODUCT
- erosion protection and vegetation restoration on moderately steep slopes ≤ 2: 1,
- on roughly granulated slopes,
- to accelerate the establishment of vegetation.
APPLICATION
The product Conwed Fibers® Hydro Mulch® is suitable for use on moderately steep slopes ? 2: 1. When applied to a slope/bank, polyacrylamide adhesive must be added to stabilise the product and seeds (seeds are not part of the product). The product is applied to the surface using a water sowing machine.

* At uniform application of 2250 kilograms/hectare under laboratory conditions. 1. Surface coverage is calculated as the ratio of soil loss on treated surfaces compared to untreated control surfaces. 2. Extensive testing was conducted at a research laboratory in Utah. For detailed testing information, contact a technical service representative of the company Profile at 866-325-6262. 3. Percentage efficiency = 1 - Surface coverage * 100%. 4. The time of action is the estimated time based on testing of ASTM D5338 and findings from the field, where it was found that the agent can provide erosion protection and agronomic benefit depending on the composition as well as specific field conditions, including but not limited to temperature, humidity, lighting, soil, biological activity, vegetation establishment and other environmental factors. 5. Heated for 5 minutes in a pressure vessel to a temperature greater than 193 degrees Celsius at a pressure greater than 345 kPa. In this way appropriate phytosanitary and thermal treatment are achieved.
