Description
Small, clump-forming, semi-evergreen ornamental plant, perennial (H 15-20 cm, W 20-30 cm), spreads by runners. Leaves in large rosettes, with long petioles, palmate (7-12 cm), 3-lobed, dark green, underneath light green. Flowers simple, cup-shaped (2-3 cm), bright red-pink. Flowering period: May-September. Fruits rare, elongate (1,5 cm), red, edible. Requires fertile, always moderately moist, sufficiently drained soils, in sun or semi-shade. A useful ground-cover, also under trees and between larger shrubs.
