Description
Small, broad, slow growing, semi-prostrate evergreen shrub (H 0,5-0,7 m, W 1-1,5 m). Branches widely spreading to prostrate, dense, thorny. Leaves ovate to narrowly egg-shaped (3-4 cm), smooth, slightly glossy, dark green. Flowers in numerous, dense umbels, small, simple (0,5 cm), cream white, scented. Fruits very numerous, round (0,4 cm), fleshy, light orange. Ripening time: September-October, fruits persist on branches through the winter. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. An undemanding species, withstands urban conditions, heat, drought, cold and pruning.
