Description
Small, carpet forming, prostrate evergreen perennial (H 10-15 cm, W 30-60 cm), spreads well. Stems thin, green, eventually partially woody at the base. Leaves narrowly ovate (2-4 cm), somehow leathery, smooth, glossy, mid to dark green, lighter beneath. Flowers numerous, individual, simple, star-shaped (3 cm), snow white. Flowering period: April-June, freely flowering, eventually untill autumn. Undemanding, well-growing ground-covering plant. Requires moderately dry to moist, humus-rich soils. Easily withstands urban conditions, occasional drought, cold and deep shadow.
