Description
Small, upright, bushy deciduous shrub, wild rose (H 0,5-1 m, W 1-1,5 m). Branches upright to open, arching, dense, thorny. Leaves broadly ovate (10 cm), pinnate, 7-9-lobed, smooth, glossy, dark green to blue-green. Flowers in clusters, flat bowl-shaped (4-5 cm), simple, cream white to yellowish white. Flowering period: May-June, freely flowering. Fruits globose (1-1,5 cm), dark red to black-red. Ripening time: September-November. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Useful as a solitary shrub, ground-covering or a bed shrub-rose.
