Description
Small, compact, slow growing deciduous shrub (H 1,2-1,5 m, W 1,3-1,8 m). Crown rounded to broadly spherical. Leaves broadly ovate (6-10 cm), dark green, autumn colour orange-red to dark red. Flowers in dense, half-round inflorescence (7-10 cm), simple (1 cm), white, intensely scented. Flowering period: May-June. Attracts butterflies and bees. Undemanding shrub, grows well under trees, in half-shade, prefers moist soils. Viburnum 'Juddii' oz. Viburnum × juddii is a cross between V. carlesii and V. bitchiuense.
