Description
Small, dense, upright deciduous shrub (H up to 120 cm, W up to 120 cm). Leaves lanceolate to egg-shaped (7-11 cm), scented, dark green. Flowers star-shaped, simple (2 cm), with numerous anthers, gold-yellow. Flowering period: June-September. Fruits egg-shaped (up to 1 cm), glossy, apricot pink to salmon pink, later black. Ripening time: July-November. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Suitable shrub for dry, sandy soils and very sunny sites. Good for cutting. Hypericum × inodorum is a cross Hpericum androsaemum × H. hircinum.
