Description
Medium-sized, upright, bushy deciduous shrub, wild rose (H 2-3 m, W 2-3 m), of strong vigour. Branches upright to open, arching, thorny. Leaves broadly ovate (10-12 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, underneath glandular, glossy, mid to dark green. Flowers in clusters, bowl-shaped (4 cm), simple, pink to light pink, with white center and yellow anthers; scented. Flowering period: June-July. Fruits elongate (1-2 cm), fleshy, bright red. Ripening time: September-November. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Well resistant to diseases, undemanding shrub.
