Description
Large, upright, single-stemmed deciduous tree (H 10-18 m, W 8-12 m), crown pyramidal to ovate, broad. Bark on trunk deeply longitudinally fissured, ornamental. Young branches light brown, with corky wings. Leaves deeply palmately dissected (12-16 cm), 5-7-lobed, leaflets narrow, with a serrate edge; leaves smooth, slightly glossy, dark green, autumn colour intense bright red to wine red. Flowers unremarkable, yellow-green. Flowering period: May. Fruits in round clusters (2-3 cm), dark brown. Ripening time: September-November.
