Description
Small, upright deciduous fruit-tree (H 5-7 m, W 4-5 m), of medium vigour. Young branches often hanging, long, thin. Leaves ovate to egg-shaped (5-8 cm), smooth, mid to dark green, lighter beneath. Flowers simple (2,5 cm), white. Flowering period: April-May, mid late, self-fertile. Fruits round, fleshy, dark red to black-red, juicy, tasty, manj tart, good for fresh use. Very rodna variety. Ripening time: July. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Requires deep, moderately moist, fertile soils, in an open, light site.
