Description
Large, weeping, widely spreading evergreen shrub, conifer (H 4-6 m, W 3-4 m). Crown broadly spherical to broadly conical. Stems thin, long, drooping. Needles scalelike (up to 1 cm), pointed, smooth, young needles yellow, later yellow-green to green. Flowers and fruits rare or absent. Requires deep, moderately moist, nutrient-rich soils, and sunny to half-shady sites. Easily withstands occasional drought, cold, heat, wind and urban conditoins.
