Description
Small, upright, bushy deciduous shrub, shrub-rose, a hybrid rugosa (H 0,8-1 m, W 0,8-1 m). Branches dense, upright to open, arching, thorny. Leaves broadly ovate (10-12 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, ribbed, glossy, bright dark green, autumn colour bright yellow. Flowers in clusters, bowl-shaped (6-8 cm), semi-double, white to pale pink; intensely scented, spicy scent. Flowering period: June-September; freely flowering in beginning of summer, later less. Fruits flattened round (2-3 cm), fleshy, orange-red. Ripening time: September-November. Very healthy shrub, well-growing, with a good disease-resistance; a very good, recognized, recent German variety. Useful as a solitary shrub-rose.
