Description
Medium-sized, upright, bushy deciduous shrub, shrub-rose (H 1,5-1,8 m, W 1,2-1,5 m). Branches upright to arching. Leaves broadly ovate (10-15 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, ribbed, glossy, vivid green. Flowers in loose clusters, bowl-shaped (8-10 cm), simple, bright pink; delicately scented. Flowering period: June-September. Fruits flattened round (2-3 cm), fleshy, orange-red. Ripening time: September-November. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Well resistant to diseases, healthy and well-growing. Useful as a solitary shrub-rose. An older British variety.
