Description
Medium-sized, upright, bushy deciduous shrub, shrub-rose, a hybrid rugosa (H 2,5-3 m, W 2-3 m). Branches upright to open, arching, thorny. Leaves broadly ovate (10-12 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, ribbed, glossy, vivid green. Flowers solitary or in small clusters, bowl-shaped (10-11 cm), double, dark red-pink, with yellow anthers; intensely scented, sweet flower scent. Flowering period: June-September, freely flowering. Well resistant to diseases, a very good, well-growing, popular rose. Useful as a solitary shrub-rose. An older French variety.
