Description
Small, bushy, upright deciduous shrub, shrub-rose, hybrid musk-rose (H 1,2-1,5 m, W 1-1,2 m). Branches upright to open, arching. Leaves broadly ovate (10 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, smooth, glossy, dark green. Flowers in large inflorescence, bowl-shaped (3 cm), simple to semi-double, red pink to bright pink; delicately scented. Flowering period: June-September, freely flowering. Fruits elongate (1,5 cm), fleshy, red. Ripening time: September-November. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Well resistant to diseases, undemanding, grows well also in half-shade. Useful as a solitary shrub-rose. An older British variety.
