Description
Medium-sized, upright deciduous shrub, large-flowered rose, hybrid tea rose (H 1,5-2 m, W 0,7-1 m), of strong vigour. Branches upright. Leaves broadly ovate (10-15 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, smooth, glossy, dark green. Flowers solitary or in small clusters, urn-shaped to bowl-shaped (10-12 cm), double, dark red; intensely scented, a characteristic, strong rose-scent. Flowering period: June-September. Well growing, very good, recognized, older American variety. Useful as a larger bed-rose, very good for cutting.
