Description
Small, upright, bushy, widely spreading deciduous shrub, shrub-rose, a hybrid rugosa (H 1-1,5 m, W 1,5-2 m). Branches upright to open, arching. Leaves broadly ovate (10-12 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, ribbed, glossy, vivid green. Flowers in loose clusters, bowl-shaped (8-10 cm), semi-double, light yellow to butter yellow; beautifully scented, fruit scent. Flowering period: June-September. A very good, recognized, well-growing American variety, grows well also in semi-shade. Useful as a solitary shrub-rose, good for cutting.
