Description
David Austin® English Roses. Small, upright, bushy deciduous shrub, shrub-rose (H 0,9-1 m, W 0,7-0,8 m). Branches upright to open. Leaves broadly ovate (10-15 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, smooth, glossy, dark green. Flowers smaller, in clusters, rosette-formed (6-7 cm), very double, salmon-pink, pink to light pink; fragrant, scent of myrrh. Flowering period: June-October. Useful mostly as a solitary shrub-rose. Rain-resistant. A recent British variety (Austin, 2012), belongs to the classical English, nostalgic varieties, grows well also in half-shade and in areas with lower summer temperatures.
