Description
Medium-sized, bushy, widely spreading deciduous shrub, wild rose (H 1,5-2 m, W 1,5-2 m). Branches upright to open, arching, dense, thorny. Leaves broadly ovate (5-10 cm), pinnate, 5-7-lobed, smooth, glossy, mid green to blue-green. Flowers in loose clusters, bowl-shaped (2-3 cm), simple, bright pink to red pink, center white, with yellow anthers; beautifully scented. Flowering period: June-July, freely flowering. Fruits globose to elongate (1-2 cm), red. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Undemanding, well-growing and disease-resistant wild-rose species.
