Description
Small, compact, broadly growing, weeping, slow growing evergreen shrub (H 0,2-0,3 m, W 0,3-0,6). Branches hanging, densely arranged. Leaves lanceolate (1-2 cm), narrow, leathery, grey-green, strongly scented. Flowers in leaf axils, small, two-lipped (0,5 cm), light blue. Flowering period: April-June. Attracts butterflies and bees. Needs well-drained, partly sandy soils. Not reliably hardy in central-european continental climate; grown as container-plant. Rosmarinus × lavandulaceus is a cross R. eriocalyx × R. officinalis.
