Description
Small ornamental fruit-tree, deciduous (up to 6 m), makes deep shade and gives delicious, tasty fruits. Leaves oval, large, up to 8x16 cm, green, autumn colour yellow to red-orange. Fruit round, flattened, small to medium-sized, red-orange to brown-orange, may eventually stay on the branches long into winter. Fruit is non-astringent, containing low levels of tanins, can be eaten directly from the tree. Taste is very good, sweet. Self-fertile veriety.
