Description
Small, bushy, clump-forming deciduous perennial (H 45-60 cm, W up to 60 cm). Leaves with long petioles, upright to arching, pinnately compound (25-50 cm), glossy, at first dark red to pink-red, later dark green. Flowers simple (up to 12 cm), cup-shaped, light sulfur yellow, pri dnu slightly light pink, with bright yellow anthers. Flowering period: May, very early. Undemanding, long-lived perennial, good for cutting. A specialty among peonies, bringing a rare pastel colouring. The variety is a result of a crossing between Paeonia lactiflora, P. macrophylla, P. mlokosewitschii and P. peregrina.
