Description
Medium-sized, bushy, clump-forming deciduous perennial (H 80-100 cm, W up to 80 cm). Leaves with long petioles, upright to arching, pinnately compound (25-50 cm), glossy, at first dark red to pink-red, later dark green. Flowers semi-double (up to 15 cm), cup-shaped, at first light red-pink, later apricot to light yellow, scented. Flowering period: May, early. Undemanding, long-lived perennial, good for cutting. One of the most beautiful herbaceous peonies, flowers outstandingly harmonious, changing colour. Result of a crossing Paeonia lactiflora × P. peregrina 'Otto Froebel'.
