Description
Small, upright, deciduous fruit-tree (H 5-8 m, W 3-4 m), of medium vigour. Leaves egg-shaped to ovate (5-8 cm), smooth, glossy, dark green, lighter beneath. Flowers simple, cup-shaped (2-3 cm), white; good polinator. Flowering period: April-May, mid late. Fruits medium-sized to large (9-10 cm), elogate egg-shaped, green-yellow to yellow, eventually with a red hue; flesh white, juicy, soft, sweet, slightly tart, tasty, with characteristically musk fragrance. To be used fresh or stored. Very high and regular yield. Ripening time: August. Attracts bees, butterflies and birds. Requires fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soils, in warm sites. Easily withstands winter cold, drought and urban conditoins.
