Description
Small, upright, deciduous fruit-tree (H 4-6 m, W 2-3 m), upright, of medium vigour. Leaves egg-shaped to ovate (5-8 cm), smooth, glossy, dark green, lighter beneath. Flowers simple, cup-shaped (2-3 cm), white. Flowering period: April-May, mid early. Fruits medium-sized, egg-shaped to pear-shaped, green-yellow to brown-yellow, with a red hue; flesh white, juicy, soft, sweet. High and regular yield. Ripening time: August-September. Attracts bees, butterflies and birds. Requires fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soils, in warm sites. Easily withstands winter cold, drought and urban conditoins.
