Description
Small, upright, deciduous fruit-tree (H 5-8 m, W 3-4 m), of medium to strong vigour. Leaves egg-shaped to ovate (5-8 cm), smooth, glossy, dark green, lighter beneath. Flowers simple, cup-shaped (2-3 cm), white. Flowering period: April-May, mid early. Fruits small to medium-sized, elongate, light green, partly red; flesh white, juicy, medium firm, sweet-tart, aromatic. Moderately high and regular yield. Ripening time: July-August. Storage: August-September. Attracts bees, butterflies and birds. Requires fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soils, in warm sites. Easily withstands winter cold, drought and urban conditoins.
