Description
Small, upright, deciduous fruit-tree (H 5-8 m, W 3-4 m), of strong vigour. Leaves egg-shaped to ovate (5-8 cm), smooth, glossy, dark green, lighter beneath. Flowers simple, cup-shaped (2-3 cm), white. Flowering period: April-May, mid early. Fruits large, elongate, green-yellow to yellow, with a red hue; flesh yellow-white, very juicy, sweet, very tasty. High and regular yield. Ripening time: September-October. Storage: October-November. Attracts bees, butterflies and birds. Requires fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soils, in warm sites. Easily withstands winter cold, drought and urban conditoins.
