Description
Medium-sized, rosette forming, semi-evergreen biennial, medicinal and cooking herb (H 30-70 cm, W 30-40 cm). Taproot more or less thick, creamy white, scented. Leaves grow from a basal rosette, deeply pinnately compound, leaflets rounded on tip; glossy, bright green to dark green; scented. Flowers in umbells (3-10 cm across), on flower stems, green-yellow. Flowering period: May-July. An undemanding biennial, often cultivated as an annual; grows well as a pot plant or a container plant.
