Description
Large, upright, fast growing deciduous tree (H 12-18 m, W 6-9 m). Crown at first narrowly ovate, more broad at maturity, pyramidal to rounded, dense. Bark olive green. Leaves broad-palmate (15-20 cm), 5-7-lobed, leaflets remarkable, wide, with narrowly pointed tips; with a rough, sharply serrate margin; leaves dark green, autumn colour yellow to orange. Flowers green-yellow. Flowering period: April-May. Fruits winged, in pairs (very obtuse, almost straight angle), light brown. Ripening time: September-October. An undemanding species, normally withstands drought, wind, different types of soil and urban conditoins.
