Description
Large, upright deciduous tree (H 15-20 m, W 10-12 m). Crown broadly ovoid to broadly oval, dense. Leaves broad-palmate (15-20 cm), 5-7-lobed, leaflets remarkable, wide, with narrowly pointed tips; with a rough, sharply serrate margin; leaves at first bright wine red to dark brown-red, later dark green, autumn colour yellow-orange. Flowers green-yellow. Flowering period: April-May. Fruits winged, in pairs (very obtuse, almost straight angle), light brown. Ripening time: September-October. Undemanding species, normally withstands drought, wind, different types of soil and urban conditoins.
