Description
Small, upright, bushy deciduous shrub (H 1,2-1,5 m, W up to 1,5 m). Branches upright to arching, densely arranged. Leaves ovate (3-6 cm), green. Flowers numerous, in loose clusters, simple, cup-shaped (2,5 cm), snow white, with yellow anthers, intensely scented. Flowering period: June-July. Attracts butterflies and bees. Undemanding, freely flowering shrub. An old variety, a result of crossing between Philadelphus microphyllus and P. coroniarius. It is also a parent variety to many modern varieties.
