Description
Small, upright, bushy deciduous shrub (H 1,2-1,5 m, W up to 2 m). Branches upright to arching, densely arranged. Leaves ovate (3-6 cm), green. Flowers numerous, in loose clusters, simple, cup-shaped (3-5 cm), margin curled, white, with a slight, light lilac-pink hue, with yellow anthers, intensely scented. Flowering period: June-July. Attracts butterflies and bees. Undemanding, freely flowering shrub. Variety's full name: Philadelphus × lemoinei 'Belle Etoile'.
