Description
Small, broad, densely growing evergreen perennial or semi-shrub, often grown as an annual (H 40-65 cm, W 30-40 cm). Stems thin, upright. Leaves lanceolate to broadly egg-shaped (2-4 cm), softly hairy, green to grey-green, scented. Flowers in compact, upright inflorescence, two-lipped (0,5 cm), white, scented. Flowering period: July-September. Grows best in light, moderately dry, partly sandy, not too nutrient-rich soils, in distinctly sunny, warm sites. Not reliably hardy in central-european continental climate, needs some winter protection, may die without protection by -15 °C.
