Description
Small, weeping or prostrate, slow growing evergreen shrub, conifer (H 0,4-0,7 m, depands as well on grafting height, W 1-1,8 m). Bark red-brown to orange-brown, ornamental. Crown flattened to umbrella-shaped, open. Branches hanging. Buds egg-shaped, slightly resinous. Needles (8-10 cm) pointed, in pairs, thin, soft, green. Flowers separately arranged in male and female inflorescence on the same plant. Flowering period: April. Fruits cones (4-7 cm), elongate egg-shaped, yellow brown. Requires dry, well-drained soils.
