Description
Small, upright, narrowly growing, deciduous tree (H 6-8 m, W 2-2,5 m). Crown columnar to narrowly egg-shaped. Leaves broad-palmate (5-8 cm), 5-7-lobed, with a serrate margin, young leaves light yellow-green, in summer dark green; autumn colour orange to vivid red; leaflets remarkable, broad, with narrowly pointed tip. Flowers violet-red. Flowering period: April-May. Fruits winged, in pairs (very obtuse, almost straight angle), dark red. Ripening time: September-October. Undemanding tree, suitable for urban conditoins, normally grows in different types of soil, except the very heavy and permanently moist soils.
