Description
Medium-sized, bushy evergreen shrub (H 1,5-2,5 m, W 1,5-2 m). Branches light brown, stiff, upright. Leaves large, pinnately compound, leaflets egg-shaped (8-10 cm), with a spiny margin, leathery, glossy, dark green, in winter distinctly dark red to wine red. Flowers numerous, in clusters on shoots' ends, light yellow, scented. Freely flowering variety. Flowering period: November-March. Fruits ovate (up to 1 cm), fleshy, blue-violet. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Good cut-flower.
