Description
Medium-sized, upright, bushy deciduous shrub (H 1,8-2,5 m, W 2-3 m). Branches upright to arching, densely arranged. Leaves ovate (3-6 cm), green. Flowers numerous, in loose clusters, double, cup-shaped (4-5 cm), white, with yellow anthers, intensely scented. Flowering period: June-July. Attracts butterflies and bees. Undemanding, freely flowering shrub. The name Philadelphus × virginalis includes a group of varieties, originating from multiple crossings between several Philadelphus species.
