Description
Large, vigorously growing deciduous fruit-plant, climber (H 5-7 m, W 5-7, depands on staking and pruning). Leaves palmate (15-25 cm), 3-5-lobed, wrinkled, with a serrate margin, bright to dark green, lighter beneath; autumn colour yellow. Flowers in racemes, numerous, bell-shaped (0,5 cm), yellow-green. Fruits in medium-sized elongate racemes, round (1-1,5 cm), juicy, light yellow-green, tasty; primarely for wine-making. Ripening time: September-October, late. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Suitable for smaller gardens, a very good plant for shade.
