Description
Large, vigorously growing deciduous fruit-plant, climber (H 5-7 m, W 5-7, depands on staking and pruning). Leaves palmate (15-25 cm), 3-lobed, wrinkled, with a serrate margin, bright to dark green, lighter beneath; autumn colour yellow to orange-red. Flowers in racemes, numerous, bell-shaped (0,5 cm), yellow-green. Fruits in large racemes, elongate (1,5-2 cm), juicy, dark blue, tasty; good for fresh use and processing. Ripening time: August-September, mid early. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. Suitable for smaller gardens, a very good plant for shade.
