Description
Large, upright, bushy, fast growing deciduous shrub (H 3-4 m, W 2-3 m). Branches long, upright to widely spreading. Leaves lanceolate (12-25 cm), slightly wrinkled, grey-green to dark green. Flowers in dense panicles (20-25 cm) on young shoots' ends, tiny, star-shaped (up to 0,5 cm), bright yellow to orange-yellow. Flowering period: July-September. Attracts butterflies and bees. Requires well-drained soils, in a sunny, warm, sheltered site. Otherwise undemanding, freely flowering shrub. Buddleja × weyeriana is a cross B. davidii × B. globosa.
