Description
Small, slow growing, frost tolerant, semi-evergreen shrub (H 1-1,3 m, W 1-1,5 m). Leaves lanceolate (3-5 cm), leathery, glossy, variegated, dark green, with narrow, cream white margin and pink hue. Flowers simple (1,5-2 cm), pale pink to white. Flowering period: July-September. It grows well in light, humus-rich, sufficiently drained, always moderately moist soils, in warm, sheltered, sunny to half-shady sites. Abelia × grandiflora is a cross between A. chinensis and A. uniflora.
