Liapor is a purified natural clay product that is fired and expanded in a special process at 1200 degrees C. The result: thousands of light, small, structurally stable grains with many air cells inside. For the Liadrain product, the Liapor grains are broken. As a result, a high proportion of broken grain thus serves to store water, which is particularly beneficial for green areas, and thus indirectly also for storing nutrients and aerating the soil.

It is used for decorative covering of garden beds, flower areas, graves, as well as for mixing with soil and drainage. It is also an excellent heat and sound insulator, and it is also resistant to frost.

 Better soil:

For soils, Liadrain is mainly used to improve soil structure. ​​Liadrain grains ensure constant ventilation of the roots and regulation of the water balance both in new plantings and in the restoration of trees, shrubs and greens. This saves you the trouble of changing constantly compacted and acidic soil, and you no longer need to water your plants as often.

Green roofs:

Liadrain has proven to be an ideal substrate component for green roofs. Due to their lightness, structural stability and good water retention properties, flat or slightly inclined roof surfaces are easy to create as habitats for plants, small animals and, last but not least, people.
