Description
Small, bushy, widely spreading deciduous shrub, wild rose (H 1-1,5 m, W 1-2 m). Branches upright to open, arching, dense, thorny. Leaves broadly ovate (5-10 cm), pinnate, 5-lobed, smooth, glossy, mid green to blue-green. Flowers in loose clusters, bowl-shaped (4-6 cm), semi-double, variegated, with pink and white stripes; beautifully scented, the old-rose-scent. Flowering period: June-July, freely flowering. Fruits globose to elongate (1-1,5 cm), red-orange to brown-orange. Useful as a bed-rose or as a solitary shrub-rose.
