Description
Medium-sized, upright evergreen shrub (H 2-3 m, W 2-3 m). Leaves lanceolate (12-20 cm), variegated, at first bright red to dark wine red, later dark green. Flowers in loose clusters tiny, white. Flowering period: April-June. Fruits in umbells, round (0,5 cm), light red. Ripening time: October-November. Needs light, always moist soils, a sheltered position and some winter protection. Photinia × fraseri is a cross Photinia glabra × P. serratifolia.
